SERVICE

Web app · platform development Member-based web app · matching platform · SaaS development company

A platform’s size is set not by screen count but by “how many sides it has.” Each side you add — client and expert, store owner and courier — doubles the screens to build.

When to bring this to us

If any of these applies, it is time to consider Web app · platform development.

  • You want a matching service that connects suppliers and customers
  • You take bookings or applications and need to manage schedules and settlement
  • You are building a solution to sell as a monthly subscription (SaaS)
  • You have a reference like “a site like Upwork” but the scope is not pinned down

Web app · platform development: what we build

Pick only what you need. We do not pad the scope with features you will not use.

Matching · marketplace platform

The flow from posting a request, proposals and quotes, selection, progress tracking to reviews. Client, expert and operator screens are each required, so we design all three sides from the start.

Booking · application services

Scheduling, double-booking prevention, payment, cancellation and refund rules and notifications. If no-show and refund rules are not in the system, operations end up handling everything by hand.

SaaS · subscription solutions

Data separated per customer company, with plans, subscription billing, usage limits and trial periods. These are the hardest things to add later, so they go into the structure from day one.

Settlement · commissions

Platform commissions, supplier payouts and tax invoices automated.

Members · roles · notifications

Social login, identity verification, role-based permissions and email, SMS and push notifications.

Operator screens · statistics

Screens to see sign-ups, transactions and churn and make operating decisions. A service begins at launch — without operating tools nothing can be improved.

How we proceed

From estimate to contract, schedule and maintenance, everything is tracked transparently in our own system.

  1. 01

    Estimate · planning

Check the expected cost with the estimate tool first, then write a specification that pins down the requirements.

  2. 02

    Design

From wireframes to the final screens, we make sure intent is not lost along the way.

  3. 03

    Development · QA

The person who understands the plan does the development, and quality is verified against a checklist.

  4. 04

    Deployment · operations

After deployment we continue with maintenance and feature additions.

Web app · platform development FAQ

How much does platform development cost?
It depends mainly on how many user sides there are (client, supplier, operator…) and the payment and settlement scope. A one-line request cannot set the scale, so the AI estimate actually analyzes the reference site and counts page types to estimate scale before pricing.
Can I get an estimate just by saying “a site like Upwork”?
Yes. But that one line has no feature description, so the scale tends to come out smaller than reality. When you name a reference site, the AI estimate inspects its page structure and applies a minimum scale. It still cannot see screens behind login, so treat it as a floor.
Can we start small with an MVP?
That is what we recommend. Open only the minimum needed to attract the harder-to-get side of users first, then expand based on actual use. Building everything at once costs more and half the features go unused.
What if we also need an app?
We recommend launching as a web app first, then releasing the app after seeing the response. If an app is essential from the start (push, location), we design it to share data with the web.
